Pandorum - Hearing Your Scream  
| I have to admit, I kind of enjoyed this little mystery set in space. It's a great idea and executed fairly well if not gloriously. Sure, perhaps there was potential here to be Alien good, and it's certainly not, but overall, Pandorum delivers a very satisfying viewing.
Two astronauts "wake up" from suspended animation not knowing what's going on or what happened to the rest of the large crew that should have been on their ship which is floating through space. The two have to search the ship to try to figure out what's going on. Things, not surprisingly, turn out not to be what they seem. It's a delicious little mystery.
The film is successfully claustrophobic and moody. Ben Foster is a talent who should be a bigger star than he is. He carries this film and makes it work.
Okay, maybe the mystery's reveal isn't that shocking and maybe the film falls into a few cliched moments, but over all, Pandorum is an interesting little tale that will entertain, make you jump a bit and is just tantalizing enough to work.
