I am a dog, a chihuahua to be exact. Therefore it is difficult for me to buy a ticket. Often I rely on the "kindness of strangers" to get to see movies. When I heard that there was a film called Old Dogs, naturally, due to my species, I wanted to see it.

I started asking around and I couldn't get even one of our reviewers to go with me to buy a ticket. They told me the trailers and all related promotional material looked so horrifically bad that there was no way they would step into a cinema to see this, even if I paid them. I tried, even using my cutest whimper, to convince one of our human reviewers to see Old Dogs but couldn't motivate even one.

So this isn't a review so much as a warning. If you are really crazy enough to believe that Old Dogs will be somewhat funny or entertaining, just log online to the trailer for the film and remind yourself that it is not.

Maybe I can get them to buy me a ticket to something else. The Fantastic Mr. Fox sounds promising. It's actually about dogs (foxes are dogs, you know), not just washed up former A-listers cashing in their careers.
